We will be seeing in the New Year with an informal ‘gathering’ from 8pm on 31st December, all welcome. Also, we’ll be engaging in ’24-hour’ Tara chanting – beautiful prayers which we will be doing every four hours from 3pm on 31st – so 3pm, 7pm, 11pm, 3am, 7am and 11am, each session lasting around an hour. Please join us for any or all of the sessions.

Akshobya Buddhist Centre is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union. The NKT – IKBU is a Mahayana Buddhist tradition, founded by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, which helps people from all walks of life develop peace and happiness through understanding and practising the teachings of Buddha. The worldwide Kadampa community is like a global spiritual family, offering support and encouragement to those wishing to engage in spiritual practice.
